SILENTSHARK
Home

We have established what we believe Australia offers.

We have examined the engineering, identified what must change, and established the standards we expect.

Now we must agree on what good looks like.

Not simply how many motors we manufacture or sell, but what we have built together.

What should we expect to see in two years? And what should exist in five?

In Two Years

A Reputation Begins

In two years, MakoShark should be recognised within the northern Australian barramundi fishing community as a motor worth owning.

Not because it is cheaper.

Not because it has more features.

Because it is silent, reliable and supported by people who know how to service it.

Every mandatory R&D correction has been incorporated into production. The manufacturing quality reflects the exceptional engineering inside the motor.

Customers can have confidence that their local dealer can diagnose problems, obtain parts and repair their motor without unnecessary delays.

Our dealer network is operating, our trade-in programme is established, and the first MakoShark Silent Upgrades are being fitted to compatible motors from competing brands.

The factory is receiving direct feedback from Australian servicing and repairs, allowing product improvements to continue.

What Good Looks Like in Numbers

MeasureYear 2
Active service-capable Australian dealers8
New motor sales annually200
Retrofit steering boxes annually250
Combined annual unit volume450

These are proposed annual operating targets to be achieved by the end of Year 2.

The retrofit target depends on successful engineering compatibility with existing motors.

Two hundred motor sales across eight dealers represents an average of just twenty-five new motors per dealer annually.

This is not a strategy that requires every dealer to sell hundreds of motors.

It requires a small network of capable businesses, delivering consistent service and building customer confidence.

After two years, good means we have established a reputation worth protecting.

In Five Years

A Reputation That Stands on Its Own

In five years, MakoShark should no longer be regarded as a newcomer attempting to enter Australia's electric motor market.

It should be recognised as a first-tier brand.

A brand associated with silent operation, reliable engineering, excellent manufacturing and serviceability.

Australian fishermen should be recommending MakoShark because of their own experiences, not because of advertising promises.

Our original northern relationships should have helped establish a reputation that now extends across Australia.

The dealer network should have grown into a national network of skilled service providers.

MakoShark replacement parts should be supporting new motors, refurbished motors and Silent Upgrades to compatible products from other manufacturers.

Trade-ins should be feeding an established second-hand market, introducing MakoShark components to customers who may never have purchased a new MakoShark motor.

And the factory should have something equally valuable: an ongoing source of Australian field experience that informs engineering and manufacturing decisions.

What Good Looks Like in Numbers

2,000 new motors annually.

That is our proposed Year 5 annual sales ambition.

Not a guarantee, and not a calculation of Australian retail revenue.

It is the scale of business we intend to develop through a national dealer network and an established reputation.

It does not include additional demand for replacement parts, retrofit steering assemblies or refurbished motors.

By this stage, our relationship should be more than a manufacturing agreement and a distribution arrangement.

We should be working together to develop products, prevent failures, support customers and protect the reputation we have built.

After five years, good means Australian fishermen trust MakoShark because the product, the people and the service have earned that trust.

What We Build Together

For MakoShark, good means a growing Australian market, consistent manufacturing demand and direct knowledge of how its products perform in demanding conditions.

For us, good means a product we are proud to recommend, a dealer network capable of supporting its customers, and a manufacturer that shares our commitment to quality.

For Australian fishermen, good means a motor that performs quietly, works reliably and can be repaired when something goes wrong.

Our relationship will be measured by what we create together.

Mutual Trust makes the relationship possible.

The Spirit of Craftsmanship makes the product worthy of that trust.

Good is what we build when both are present.

In two years, Australian fishermen know who MakoShark is. In five years, they know why they trust it.
